Nokia Lumia 800 for Telus Canada now available
The Nokia Lumia 800 is now available on Telus Canada and if any of our Canadian neighbors need a WP7.5 fix, this is their chance. The device was announced by Telus in early January, but it has taken them almost two months to actually release it – interested buyers can pick this device up for $529.99 without a contract, $479.99 with a one-year contract, $429.99 with a two-year lockdown, or just $49.99 if you are ready to write away three years of your mobile service to Telus.
The prices do seem steep but I presume there will be buyers – after all, this is a device featuring 1.4GHz single-core Scorpion CPU, 512MB RAM, an 8MP shooter with dual-LED flash, 16GB of onboard storage, and a 3.7 inch AMOLED display with Nokia ClearBlack technology. The icing on the cake is of course, Windows Phone 7.5 OS and its Metro UI, which feels great to use even if the OS is in its nascent stages.
Head over to Telus if you think the Lumia 800 is for you.
