MIUI Android 4.0 custom ROM now available for the Galaxy Nexus
If the CyanogenMod custom ROMs could be described as useful and attractive, the MIUI ROMs that I have used can only be described with one word – elegant. The group has ROMs for almost all popular Android devices and now the Galaxy Nexus gets it due in the form of a brand new ICS ROM customized to perfection.
If your Galaxy Nexus is rooted, you can get the ROM on it in a few simple steps:
- Download the ROM and place it on your device’s internal storage.
- Reboot to ClockworkMod Recovery
- Wipe data and cache
- Select Install from SD card.
- Reboot to MIUI.
Be sure to do a Nandroid backup first – that way, you could your GNex get back to what it was if MIUI isn’t to your liking!
