Samsung Galaxy S III for Verizon and Sprint Makes Its Way Through the FCC

The AT&T and T-Mobile variants of the Samsung Galaxy S III have been hitting the tech blogs at full speed leaving us to wonder when we would see details surface for Verizon and Sprint. Thanks to the FCC, we now have a few more details to work with. According to recent FCC filings it appears as though the Samsung Galaxy S III is now headed straight to Verizon and Sprint. The FCC documents have the Verizon variant to carry model number SCH-I535 with support for its CDMA band, EV-DO and LTE. The device is also expected to have GSM and EDGE support on 850MHz and 1900MHz bands for global roaming.

In regards to the Sprint variant, its model number is SPH-L710 and will also rock similar support except without the international roaming support.

Unfortunately the FCC reports don’t give up any actual release dates for either carrier, but the positive side is that Big Red and Now Network users shouldn’t have to wait much longer to get their hands on Samsung’s next big thing.
