Windows Phone App of the Day: Lumos
Did I mention that I live in a treehouse? Well, my friend Tori and I just moved to Williamsburg and sleep in what we call a “treehouse” but what would be more accurately described as the ceiling. Our light switch is downstairs, which involves climbing down a rope ladder from the ceiling, so I downloaded the Lumos flashlight app for WP7 as a means a self-preservation when entering and exiting our treehouse.
Lumos, brought to you by Codeline.net, is the best free LED flashlight app available for Windows Phone 7. Best part? No advertisements! Built when the developer was unable to find a flashlight app to fit his needs, this fast, easy, convenient app was built literally by the people, for the people.

Conclusion
I downloaded this app out of necessity and honestly may download the Pro version to support the developer. I’m a big fan of apps that don’t try to do more than they should. I heard a great phrase the other day that I feel applies here: “The Devil’s in the details.” This is the perfect app for anyone who needs a flashlight at their fingertips. Definitely recommended!!
