This article says to load a custom recovery image (ClockworkMod) in oder to install the Superuser file to root the device. I believe the device must be rooted before ClockworkMod is loaded. It certainly must be if loaded via Rom Manager. In fact, this article links to https://theunlockr.com/2012/08/29/how-to-load-a-custom-rom-on-an-android-device/ which states you root first, then install the custom recovery image.
When clicking on both links for the ‘Required Files’ and then clicking the links for each of the respective programs, the website says that ‘The file that you requested was not found’ any suggestions?
Perhaps the files have been removed from their original locations. We’ll update the procedure once we get new working download links.
Thanks!
