How to Unroot the Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

Want to to unroot your Huawei Ideos X5 U8800 smartphone so your kids don’t accidentally modify the system files? No problem, we’ve got everything to help you unroot your device and you should be able to do it in just a minute or two. Let’s see how you can unroot your Huawei Ideos X5 U8800 smartphone.

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. The following procedure should not work if you have rooted your device by any other method.

2. This should remove the Superuser app from your device.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. SuperOneClick (It’s attached there in the first post)

III. Unrooting the Huawei Ideos X5 U8800:

1. Download and place the SuperOneClick archive on your Desktop.

2. Unzip files from the SuperOneClick archive to your Desktop.

3. Enable USB debugging on your device by going to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.

4. Connect the device to your PC using the USB cable.

5. Right-click on the SuperOneClick EXE file and choose Run as administrator. It should launch the tool with administrative privileges.

6. Click on the Unroot button in the tool and it should begin to unroot your device.

7. Within a minute or two, you will have an unrooted device!

Awesome! You’ve successfully unrooted your device using the same tool we used to root it. The Superuser app has been removed from your App Drawer, that means you are no longer able to provide system files access to apps.
