How to Unroot the Motorola Droid 4
If you want to unroot your Motorola Droid 4 smartphone, then we have a nice guide for you just below. There’re several reasons why you would unroot your device, maybe you’re going to the service center for any warranty kind of purpose or just want to start everything from scratch, unrooting is the first step you should take. So, let’s see the easiest way to unroot your device.
I. Before You Begin:
1. You should have rooted your device using the procedure given here.
2. It is recommended that you charge your device fully before doing this procedure.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Droid 4 Utility (Download link’s given in the first post)
III. Unrooting the Motorola Droid 4:
1. Download and place the Droid 4 Utility on your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the Utility archive to your Desktop.
3. Enable USB debugging on your device. To do so, head to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging, tick-mark the box.
4. Connect the device to your PC using USB cable.
5. Now, right-click on the file named Droid4Windows.bat you have on your Desktop and choose Run as administrator.
6. From inside the tool, choose second option which is for Unroot.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions.
8. When the process completes, reboot your device.
9. You’re unrooted now!
