How to Install Google Now Easily on your Android ICS Device

The Google Now is an app that lets you talk to your Android Device and get help from it, such as performing web searches and asking for the weather info. The main drawback of the app is, it’s available for a limited number of devices only and while the majority of Android device owners do not have one of the supported phones, it really puts them into disappointment. To take away your disappointment, the developers have come ahead with a solution to install the Google Now app on your device regardless of what device you have, though the device needs to be running on the ICS. Let’s see how you can get the Google Now app up and running on your device.

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. You can check out our How Tos section to find out the root procedure for your particular device.

2. You must be running on the Android ICS.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. GNow Handlebars (Download link’s given in the first post)

III. Installing Google Now on your Android ICS Device:

1. Download the GNow Handlebars app APK to the Desktop of your PC.

2. Connect your device to your PC via USB cable.

3. Transfer the app over to the root of your SD card.

4. Once it’s done, disconnect the device from your PC.

5. Enable the Unknown sources option by heading to Menu>>Settings>>Security>>Unknown sources.

6. Open the File Manager on your device and install the app you transferred earlier.

7. Once it’s installed, launch it from Menu.

8. From inside the app, choose Install option.

9. Follow any instructions you see on the screen.

10. You’re all set!

Great! You now have Google Now app installed on your Android Device and you can use this voice assistant to ask for any help!
