How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the LG Connect 4G
If you’ve rooted your LG Connect 4G smartphone, then you will most probably like to install a custom recovery on your device. A custom recovery offers such great features that you really can’t ignore them, they’ve proven to be life-savers for some people. It helps you backup your current system, replace your firmware with a custom one and so on. If this sounds good to you and you’re ready to join the flashaholic party, then follow the following guide and get a custom recovery installed on your device.
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have done our How to Root the LG Connect 4G procedure.
2. This works on Windows based PCs only.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. All in One Toolkit (Download link’s given in the first post)
III. Installing ClockworkMod Recovery on the LG Connect 4G:
1. Place the Toolkit archive on the Desktop of your PC.
2. Unzip files from the archive to your Desktop.
3. Enable the USB debugging function on your device by going to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.
4. Once enabled, connect your device to your PC via USB cable.
5. Double-click on the AIO-LGConnect.bat file you extracted earlier to your Desktop.
6. Type in 3 using your keyboard and hit Enter.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions.
8. And you’re all set!
Awesome! You’ve successfully installed ClockworkMod Recovery on your device and you should be able to realize the power of a custom recovery as soon as you boot into the recovery mode!
