HTC Calls Samsung the “Next Big Flop”- What Do You Think?

After Samsung’s performance last night, which revealed the Galaxy S4, it seemed as though the crowd was split down the middle on their initial impression of the device. Tech blogs have been buzzing with consumer opinions but what really caught our attention was when a big competitor decided to voice their own opinion, and quite obnoxiously.

HTC took to Twitter during Samsung’s press conference in an attempt to draw some of the attention back to the Taiwanese manufacturer. Things really started to heat up when HTC decided to tweet this:

“So…how off- Broadway is this production? #theNextBigFlop #HTCOne”

While we don’t expect manufacturers to come out and pat their competitors on the back with praise, this shot was certainly below the belt. Maybe HTC should just focus on getting their own devices back to a number One sales spot instead of looking like foolish with petty jabs. Tell us what you think. Do you agree with HTC, or do you think their behavior is less than desirable?

  1. I disagree with HTC. Samsung’s devices are top notch devices. I used to buy HTC devices, but they started going downhill with the Evo 3D, I switched to the Sprint S2 and was blown away. I have bought the S3 and most recently the Note 2. I also like how modder/developer friendly Samsung phone are!
