Root-only apps will stop working once you’ve unrooted your device, but at the same time, you’ll get your lost warranty back. Unrooting’s an easy process and this guide makes it darn easy for you to follow. So, let’s see how you can unroot your Optimus Sol.
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device using the procedure given here. If you used any other method to root your device, then this procedure may not work for you.
2. This works on the Windows based PCs only.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. SuperOneClick (Download the 2.3.3 version of the app)
III. Unrooting the LG Optimus Sol:
1. Place the SuperOneClick package archive onto your Desktop.
2. Unzip files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Enable the USB debugging option on your device by going to Menu>>Settings>>Applications>>Development>>USB debugging.
4. Once enabled, plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.
5. Double-click on the SuperOneClick executable file and it’ll launch.
6. Click Unroot button in the app and it’ll unroot your device.
7. You’ll get a confirmation on your screen once your device’s been unrooted.
