Verizon Lights Up Five New Markets With 4G LTE Coverage, Expands in the Northeast
Verizon is still on the race to cover the entire nation with its 4G LTE network, and today marks the launch of five new markets. The Big Red carrier hopes to mirror its 3G network by the end of 2013. In addition to the new markets, Verizon has also expanded 4G LTE coverage to many areas in the northeast. We’re sure this makes a good number of our readers in that area very pleased indeed.
Verizon Wireless 4G LTE service is now available to 287 million people in 491 markets across the U.S.
New Markets:
- El Centro, California
- Fort Dodge, Iowa
- Middlesboro/Harlan and Paducah, Kentucky
- East Liverpool, Ohio
Expansions:
- Cambridge and Senecavilla, Ohio
- Huntington County, Pennsylvania
- Bedford County, Pennsylvania
- North Ohio (east of Toledo; Cygnet; Luckey; etc.)
- Dutchess County, New York
- Orange County, New York
- Delaware County, New York
- Chautauqua County, New York
- Cayuga County, New York
