How to Clear Cache in Windows 8

Clearing Cache on your Windows 8 will let you free-up some disk space that you can use to store any other files. The cache files are nothing but the static version of some files, webpages that your OS saves on the hard-disk and when requested by user, it loads directly from the PC instead of fetching from web. Here’s how you can clear cache in Windows 8:

I. Clearing Cache in Windows 8:

1. Open the Charms menu by pressing the Windows Logo key on your keyboard.

2. Search for cleanmgr and click on the result that’s displayed on your screen.

3. Select the Disk Drive you want to clean-up and hit OK.

4. On the next screen, checkmark all the boxes and hit OK.

5. It’ll clean-up all the cache on your PC.

6. You’re done!

Awesome! The cache has been successfully cleaned on your Windows 8 and you have now gained some free space on your hard-drive.
