Acer Allegro running Windows Phone 7.5 announced
Acer, not preferring the bang that the Nokia announcement had yesterday, has quietly revealed the first member in its Windows Phone section, the Allegro. The device will be running the Windows Phone 7.5 OS and comes with moderate specs to keep things affordable – it’ll feature a single-core 1GHz processor and a 3.6-inch WVGA LCD display coupled with the usual connectivity options of Bluetooth, WiFi and aGPS. The Allegro will also be having 8GB of onboard storage and a 5MP lens with LED flash for on-the-go snapshots.
The handset will sell for €299, roughly 400 of your local greens, and will be available in France starting mid-November – as for a hop over to the US, nothing has been revealed but it should eventually make it once the European market is covered.
