Android App of the Day: My Fishing Advisor

If you enjoy novice fishing as a hobby, then knowing when, where, and how to fish can make all the difference in an Angler’s life. Having the right tools for freshwater fishing used to require a mixture of experience, gut instinct, and going to the same fishing spots time and time again. Thanks to the advances in technology there is now an incredibly smart app called My Fishing Advisor that uses artificial intelligence to determine where fish will most likely be located and what bait or lures will be best to use.

  • Select when you’ll be fishing
  • Pick your location by GPS or on the map
  • Select the type of body of water, water conditions, and what species you want to catch
  • Select when you will fish (now or in the future)
  • App provides weather report, you can choose to use that report or enter current conditions in manually
  • Confirm water temperature
  • Read fishing advice that is displayed
  • Decide if area is the best to fish at that time
  • Enjoy your catch!

Conclusion:

As a novice Angler discovering new places to fish alone can sometimes be a daunting task. Sadly, I don’t have many other friends who enjoy to fish, which used to have me subject to a lot of trial and error. I’ve learned so much from this app and now even check out the fishing conditions of my favorite spots even when I can’t fish. With this app I can even imagine what I could be catching as a quick fix for when I can’t get out and fish.
