Apple iPad available on T-Mobile, Orange and 3 in the UK
The Galaxy Tab might be on the forefront leading the Android tablet revolution, but the coveted iPad still sits snugly on top as the world’s favorite. After selling more than 3 million units in the first 80 days of availability, the iPad is now available in the UK, with T-Mobile, Orange and 3 announcing its availability on their respective networks. All the three carriers are offering similar prices with a two-year contract at £199 for the 16GB version and £249 for the 3GB variant while the 64GB iPad can be bought for £349.
The difference seems to be in the data plans that are on offer, with 3 offering the best deal (15GB per month) at £25 while T-Mobile and Orange subscribers will have to be satisfied with 1GB data transfer along with another 1GB from midnight to 10AM at the same price.
