AT&T adds Samsung Infuse 4G to its lineup
If you have always wanted a slightly bigger, slightly overclocked (using the same CPU as the original Galaxy S/Captivate, mind) AT&T Captivate, the Infuse 4G presses all the right buttons and a new button too – 21Mbps LTE speeds. The Froyo-packing device is now on sale from AT&T for $199.99 with a two-year agreement and for what it’s worth, the Galaxy S was a pretty good smartphone and the same goes for the Infuse 4G, even though its the same single-core ARM A8 Cortex processor, which runs at 1.2GHz now.
Other features include a ginormous 4.5-inch Super AMOLED Gorilla Glass Display, an 8MP camera (1.3MP lens on the front), 4G topping speeds of 21Mbps, usual bunch of connectivity options including Bluetooth 3.0 and 16GB of onboard storage that can be further expanded via MicroSD to a total of 48GB.
The device still runs Android 2.2, so we’ll keep you updated on whenever this device will be graced with Gingerbread.
