AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Ice Cream Sandwich Manual Odin Update Available
Thanks to Rootzwiki, someone has posted the manual, Odin required, Android 4.0 update for the AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II. You’ll need to download ODIN and setup the proper drivers, download the update, and then let it flash. This update is unrooted though, so if you are rooted and want ICS, just flash one of the custom ROMs that have been available for some time now thanks to third-party developers. This new update will force you to lose root and has no other benefits over the rooted custom ROMs as per the usual but if you never rooted your phone, then this is the update for you.
