AT&T Unveils “Street Charge”, Will Place Solar Powered Charging Stations Throughout NYC
Calling all New Yorkers! AT&T has just announced a new pilot program that will launch in New York City called Street Charge. AT&T plans to place solar-powered smartphone charging stations throughout the city. These stations will be placed in parks and other highly populated areas for any AT&T user in need of some battery juice. Ma Bell hopes to put forth a renewable solution to a common problem that hits smartphone users all too frequently. You can see the concept in action in the video below.
