Blackberry PlayBook V1.0.7 Update Pulled Due To Bridge Connectivity Issues
Blackberry PlayBook owners were understandably excited to hear news of an available update today. The V1.0.7 update marks the fourth update to roll out for the device.
As part of the update, users could look forward to being able to save attachments to a removable SD card or onto a Blackberry smartphone. Additionally, users would be able to Bridge and port from their Blackberry smartphone and extract zipfiles from their email. Other notable improvements include, portrait view for photos, pinch-to-zoom for video viewing, and support for 15 new languages.
Unfortunately, the update hype was short lived as PlayBook users who took advantage of the update experienced connectivity issues with the Blackberry Bridge resulting in the update being pulled. Blackberry posted on Twitter that users should see a fix later this week.
