“BTNotificationEnabler” Hack for Pebble Watch Now Available, Allows iPhone to Push All Notifications to Smartwatch
After numerous delays, the Pebble smartwatch is finally making its way into eager customer hands. The good news is that users can finally enjoy their new toy and maybe even a new jailbreak as an added bonus. That’s right, the first jailbreak modification for iPhone users has been released for the Pebble smartphone.
Thanks to developer Conrad Kramer the “BTNotificationEnabler” tweak is now up for grabs in the Cydia app store. Cydia is an app store which is designed specifically for jail broken devices. Users will appreciate that it is a simple tool that allows the iPhone to push all notifications to the Pebble smartwatch. This means that any notification from any app on your iPhone will now be sent via Bluetooth to your Pebble watch.
While this is the first jailbreak to hit the streets running, Pebble is encouraging third-party apps to use its SDK, so we’re sure to see more apps push notifications to the device directly.
I can’t seem to get this to work with my Pebble. It doesn’t forward any notifications. How about you?
