Comcast Updates Xfinity TV Player With Jelly Bean and Nexus 7 Support, Improved UI Up Next
For anyone who uses the XFINITY TV Player application on a device running Jelly Bean, then you are well aware that video playback is mediocre at best. Thankfully, Comcast rolled out a recent update which now provides beta support for devices running Jelly Bean and the Nexus 7 tablet. Despite the update being in beta form video play back is noticeably better in addition to several bugs now being fixed.
If this wasn’t exciting enough, Comcast also promises a new and improved UI to hit Nexus 7 users, which is expected to be better fit for the 7″ display. Comcast hasn’t released a date for the new UI release but we’ll keep you all informed.
In the meantime, I’m just so thankful that Rizzoli & Isles looks so much better on my Nexus 7. Anyone else feel the same way?
