Confirmed: Galaxy Nexus Pulled from Play Store Due to Injunction
If you attempted to buy a Samsung Galaxy Nexus from the Google Play store today, you were probably greeted by the words “coming soon”. Thanks to our friends over at Google, it has been confirmed that the device was pulled from the Play Store due to the recent court injunction made by US District Court Judge Lucy Koh. As expected, Samsung filed a motion to stay the ban only to have Judge Koh promptly deny it.
According to a statement made to ABC news, Google does plan to resume sales starting next week. The tech giant reportedly has a software update in the works that should correct the some of the disputed patent concerns.
