Dev Project “ExEn” Unveiled: Xbox 360 Games For iOS, Android Coming Soon
Developer Andrew Russell has been diligently at work on a tool that will grab the attention of game developers worldwide.
Russell’s project, coined “ExEn”, is an open source software that allows developers the ability to port XNA games to iOS and Android in the near future.
Essentially, this gives developers who built games for Xbox 360, Windows, or Windows Phone 7 (using Microsoft’s XNA framework) the ease to port them to the iPhone and iPad. Russel is working on Android devices next.
Project “ExEn” is being funded through the developer community, and was unveiled on Wednesday to the developers who contributed their donations.
