Droid 3 heads to Bell Canada, to be called the Motorola XT860 4G

A Droid version released outside the US is usually called the Milestone, but Motorola seems to have decided to drop the moniker in favor of a plain old model number with the Droid 3.  Called the XT860 4G, the device will soon be knocking on our neighbor’s door and will be available on Bell Mobility this summer.  Here’s a quick look at the feature set:

  • Dual-core 1GHz processor
  • Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread
  • 4.0-inch qHD display
  • Combined five-row QWERTY and touchscreen keypad
  • 8MP rear-facing camera with dual LED flash, 1080p video-capable
  • Front-facing VGA camera for video chat
  • Up to 32GB of storage via microSD (16GB internal)
  • Social Location, Connected Music Player and Bell Mobility TV apps preinstalled

Details on an exact release date and cost are sparse as of now, but you’ll know when we get to know.
