Dropbox Offers Up to 5GB Free Storage For Users Willing to Brave Beta Phase

If you’re looking for free storage space and don’t minde being a guinea pig at the same time, then Dropbox has a pretty sweet offer. The company is offering a bundle of free storage space to anyone who is willing to brave the beta version of its latest software. Users are required to download the test program and upload a photo to instantly receive 500MB of free storage. Upload another photo or video, and users will receive an additional 500MB of free storage.

Dropbox needs to test the new photo and video uploader for its beta software, which automatically extracts media from any camera, smartphone or SD card and places it in the cloud. With a beta period, there is always a slight risk involved with taking part of a test run, but Dropbox will offer users up to 5GB of free storage for their participation.
