Echoer Launches on Android, Hopes to Curate Your Thoughts and Experiences

Android users now have another social app to choose from in the form of Echoer. The app was initially launched on the iPhone and allows its users to share local experiences and see what other people are thinking and experiencing in nearby places. Essentially, Echoer  curates users’ thoughts and experiences by relevance, placing the best content on the map to give timely and popular recommendations. Here is what Daniel Cowen, co-founder and CEO of Echoer had to say about the app’s Android launch:

“We designed Echoer to be used by anyone who’s interested in what’s going on around them. With the release of Echoer for Android and our Content Partner Program, we can now take that to the next level with recognised local experts using Echoer as a tool to promote their knowledge and experiences to passers-by. We’re delighted to announce our first media and event partners in Montreal, but also incredibly grateful to all the local bloggers working with us worldwide. With a group of 500 signed-up for launch, including the innovative urban review site The Purple Passport and The Travel Magazine, Echoer is becoming the go-to place to put your content on the
map, helping local writers get their words out.”

The visually stunning and clever design of Echoer makes it quick and easy to find out relevant, timely, and popular recommendations, and opinions about local restaurants, bars, gigs and events. Echoer also solves the problem of working out which thoughts are worth hearing; elevating the most recent and popular content above the noise. Echoer displays the most relevant thoughts, or ‘echoes’, on a map. With a simple tap of the screen you can interact with a particular echo, amp it up, or enter a place and see a living infographic of the echoes in there
