Galaxy Ace 2 and Galaxy Mini 2 now made official by Samsung
The Galaxy Mini 2 and the Galaxy Ace 2 have now received their official tags from Samsung. The two devices are aimed at users looking for an affordable Android device while not exactly compromising on what Android has to offer.
The Galaxy Mini 2 has features in line with what we have heard about it before – an 800MHz processor, a 3.27-inch HVGA display, microSD, a 3MP camera, and Android 2.3 OS, which is likely to be the OS for its life. The Galaxy Ace 2 is a slightly better version that improves on some things from its predecessor – an 800MHz dual-core CPU (surprise!), a 5MP shooter (with VGA on the front), a microSD slot for expansion if the 4 gigs of internal space isn’t enough and of course, Gingerbread 2.3 OS.
While the Galaxy Ace 2 is scheduled for a UK release in April, the Galaxy Mini 2 will make its initial mark on France, before both the devices receive a global release later on.
