Samsung set the bar high when it sold approximately 3 million Galaxy S devices within 85 days of its initial release, only to report having sold 10 million after a few short months.
Now, the wildly popular Galaxy S II has reportedly sold 3 million devices worldwide in just 55 days, which calculates out to be one phone sold every 1.5 seconds.
Samsung expects sales to continue on the upward trend here in the U.S. when the AT&T branded version makes its way to the states.
