How to Get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7″ (GT-P3113) Back to Stock
Now that you have rooted your 7-inch Galaxy Tab 2 (WiFi Only, US version) and are enjoying whatever benefits are bestowed upon your device after rooting it and installing CWM, you may at some point want to get back to stock. This post will show you how.
I. Before You Begin
1. Doing this will delete all your data, so back up everything you feel is important.
2. This procedure will install UEALCB version of Android (ICS 4.0.3). You can update to the latest version over the air after you have completed this procedure.
3. This stock firmware is only for the GT-P3113 version of the Galaxy Tab 2 7″. Do not try this on any other version of the Galaxy Tab 2.
4. You will need to have ClockworkMod Recovery installed on your device for this procedure to work. If you don’t have this already, look to our post on the same to help you.
II. Necessary Downloads
IML74K.P3113UEALCB firmware [Download link available in the first post of this thread]
III. Flashing the Stock Recovery
1. Download the above firmware file (IML74K-P3113UEALCB-stock.zip) and copy it to the root of your SD card.
2. Reboot your device into ClockworkMod Recovery. To do this, with your tablet turned off, hold Volume Up and Power at the same time until it boots into Recovery.
3. Once in Recovery, select “Install zip from SD card.” Use the Volume buttons to navigate and select the IML74K-P3113UEALCB-stock.zip file you copied above to flash it.
4. Once the file is flashed, select “Reboot system now” to reboot your device.
Upon restart, your Galaxy Tab 2 7″ should be completely stock and good as new!!
All thanks go to jcase for providing the stock files. You can thank him on his thread on XDA or even donate if you liked his work.
Can you please re upload the “IML74K.P3113UEALCB firmware” because there a issued when downloading it.
Downloaded just fine….confirmed working even on P3100…this ROM seems US image…getting Amazon Netflix icons by default…it revived my almost bricked P3100 ( new ) courtesy CWM 5.5.0.4.
Thank GOD for this post…I’m back to life!!

Any way to leave a dropbox link to it in this thread?
Hi, the download link to ML74K-P3113UEALCB-stock.zip doesnt work anymore. can you please help provide a new link to this?
Can’t find the stock firmware. Link doesn’t work.
Link fixed Jon! try now!
Just to let you know the link file is no longer found.
This post would be a lot better with a working file link….its useless otherwise…please fix!
Oh and Jcase is no longer listed as a developer on xda???
The link is down again, followed it to xda site but then the file server says it couldn’t find the file. Sorry to bother but I’m trying to roll back my tab since Peel App stopped working claiming model P3100 has no IR blaster.
me too.
Hello Fernando and ED3, have contacted the dev to update his links, so we’ll need to wait now I guess 🙁
dammit man looks like this file is never going to be available….might as well take down this post since it is useless now. =(
i wish this link would work. trying to unroot so i can get the Jelly Bean release. I read that samsung was going to OTA this to the Galaxy tab 2 7inch.
Which link’s not working?
Any news on this link?
Doesn’t look like the link is going to get fixed…they should at least take down the post. Bummed out really wanted to set my tab back to stock and can’t find a stock file anywhere else on the net.
This should help you – http://rootzwiki.com/topic/31013-new-stock-rom-released/
When I click on the link it takes me to xda but it says the files have been lost what do I do know?
is this procedure the same for Android ICS 4.1.1? thank you…
This is how to remove root, however; I cannot seem to locate the page on how to ROOT this particular device. Can someone please take some time to help me solve my problem.
