Google Hypes Up Android Developers With New Dedicated Google + Page
In an attempt to lure in new developers to the Android platform, Google has released a new Google+ page as the “official Google+ home of the Android Developer Relations team”. The page aims to act as a forum by offering advice and links to development tools for Google+ and the Android OS.
Users and visitors to the Google + page can take advantage of regular hosted “hangouts” involving members of Google’s product, engineering, and design teams. Users will be encouraged to ask technical questions.
The new Google + page comes on the heels of the recently released Android Training program. Launched at the end of 2011, the training program was designed to offer tips and guidance for Android app development.Google pledges to maintain both the training courses and the Google+ site with new and current information to aid the developer community.Source
