Google Now Search App Updated for Jelly Bean Devices
Google has made some notable changes to the Google Search App sure to make a few Android users happy. All users with Android Jelly Bean devices can download and install this updated Google search app from the Google Play Store now. The update was posted to Google’s Blog stating:
“When Google Now first launched last summer, we promised it was just the beginning, and it would continue to get better at delivering you more of the information you need before you even ask. This is the fourth update since launch, and we’re just getting started!”
Google Now brings Google Now Cards which make the search experience easier and notably more enjoyable for users. The Google Now cards include the support from select third parties including the likes of Zillow, Rotten Tomatoes and Fandango.
Additional features included in the ‘Google Search App’ update include:
- Support for college sports in the US.
- Shows weather of your area during the day.
- Traffic on roads in your area
- Movie passes from Fandango
- Movie ratings from Rotten Tomatoes
- The last places you searched in Google Maps
- Calendar appointments
- Real estate listings from Zillow.
- Sports scores
- Stock exchange information
