Google Play Music Gets Useful Update, Now Uses Less Mobile Data
Google released a new update to its Google Play Music service that makes it easier to use less data when using the app. The latest release now has optimal settings which are set to “Automatically cache” allowing it to only cache music while your device is charging and on Wi-Fi, set “Download via Wi-Fi only” and set the “Mobile network stream quality” to “Low.”
Google has also improved the search facility within the app and increased the speed at which music is stored on your mobile device, when songs are mark as “Keep”.
