Google Removes White Nexus 4 From Google Play, Confirms Device is Sold Out
Google has stopped sales of its white Nexus 4 smartphone on the Google Play Store leaving only the black models available for sale. The limited-edition Android smartphone sold out earlier this week in the 8GB version with the larger 16GB model selling out over the weekend. Consumers will now see a message that states “no longer available for sale” in the United States on the device’s web page.
Google has already confirmed the news by releasing this statement:
“The Limited Edition White Nexus 8GB and 16GB are sold out on Google Play.”
Despite the removal of some Nexus 4 products, it does not mean that Google is slowing down the entire line ahead of the anticipated Nexus 5, as the three black Nexus 4 listings are still showing “In Stock” with fast shipping times.
The good news is that T-Mobile is still selling the limited-edition white Nexus 4. So, if you want to hop on the UnCarrier train for the sake of picking up a white Nexus 4, now would be the time to jump aboard.
