Google’s Jelly Bean Statue Suffers From Heat Meltdown: Head Pops Off, People Steal Jelly Beans

Google’s latest iteration of Android, or more fondly known as Jelly Bean, has suffered a recent meltdown. Not in the technical operating sense, but literally a meltdown. It appears that the Jelly Bean statue, which was proudly displayed in front of Google’s Mountain View campus, suffered from too much heat causing the head to melt and subsequently pop off. The greenhouse effect caused the delectable little treats inside to spill out and even tempted some people passing by to steal them. Seriously people, we better not see those Jelly Beans show up on eBay!

Google’s Dan Morrill, posted the picture (seen above) of the unfortunate incident on Google+ stating that “the design is already working on a bug fix”. The monument has been roped off in the meantime.

We can’t wait to see what the designer comes up with for a “bug fix”, and let’s hope Google recovers those stolen Jelly Beans in the meantime.
