How to Assign a Photo to a Contact on Your Android Device
It’s nice to have a photo come up when someone is calling you, but unless you are getting the contacts from Facebook they won’t have a picture. Luckily it’s easy to add an image for your contact as long as you have it saved on your phone.
I. Before You Begin
1. Make sure you have a picture you want to use saved on your phone. All of the photos on your phone can be found in your gallery app, even if you saved them from a text message or downloaded them from the Internet.
II. Adding the Photo
1. Go to your phonebook.
2. Click on the contact whose picture you want to change.
3. Press edit contact. If there isn’t an option directly on the contact page, press the menu button and the option to edit contact should come up.
4. At the top is a thumbnail of the contact photo, if you press that a menu comes up with an option to change it; select gallery.
5. Once you navigate to the photo you want, simply press it and the contact picture will automatically change.

I have a QMobile noir a2 and when I click on the set as a
option for a photo it only shows the list of my Skype contacts… how can I set image for normal contact???

My question is does Android store previous contact photo picture that I had used before the current one that is assigned now? Is there a way or area that contact photos are saved? I have already deleted it from my gallery, but it was used previously as contact photo…
