How to Backup and Restore APNs on your Android Phone
If you often install custom ROMs on your phone, then you must be suffering from configuring the APN settings on your phone each time you install a new ROM. To solve your problem, here’s a quick solution. Just take a backup of APN and restore it after you have installed a new ROM. See the following guide to learn how you can backup APNs and Restore them.
I. Before You Begin:
1. Your phone must not be running on Android ICS.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Download the APN Backup & Restore app from here. (Google Play Link)
III. Backing up APNs on your Android Phone:
1. Download the app using the link given above and install it on your phone.
2. Tap the App icon from the menu to launch it.
3. From the main screen of the app, choose Backup APNs option.
[ Tap Backup APNs ]
4. Now, you have to enter the name for the backup file and then tap the Ok button.
[ Tap Ok button ]
5. You will see a message on your screen after the backup is completed. Tap on Close to close it.
[ Tap Close button ]
You have successfully backed up the APNs on your Android Phone. Now, head on to the following procedure to see how you can restore this backup.
IV. Restoring APNs on your Android Phone:
1. Launch the app on your phone from the menu.
2. Choose Restore APNs option from the main interface of the app.
[ Tap Restore APNs ]
3. The backups that you have made will be shown on your screen. Choose any of them and tap the Ok button.
[ Choose the Backup File]
4. It will ask you whether you want to run a duplicate APN test, hit the Yes button.
[ Tap on Yes button ]
5. Once the restore is completed, you will see a success message on your screen. Tap the Close button to close it.

You have successfully restored the APN backup and all the APNs have now been restored on your phone which the backup file had in it.
