Want to disable the sound that plays when you start your Windows 8 based PC? Feels like you’re disturbing others by keeping your startup sound enabled? Here’s how you can disable it:

I. Disabling Startup Sound in Windows 8:

1. Right click anywhere on your Desktop and choose Personalize.

2. Select Sounds on the Personalize screen.

3. On the next screen, uncheck the box labeled as Play Windows Startup sound.

4. Hit OK button.

5. And you’re done!

Excellent! The startup sound has been disabled on your Windows 8 PC.
