How To Edit Your App Drawer on a Samsung Android Device

One of the neat little features that Samsung has added to their newer Android devices, is the ability to edit the app drawer. The app drawer is where all of your installed applications show up. You can get to it by clicking on Applications at the bottom right of your home page. On normal Android devices, this drawer is always alphabetical and can’t be changed, but on newer Samsung devices you can rearrange them to your liking. Here’s how.

1. Click on Applications at the bottom right of your homepage.

2. Click the Menu button on your device.

3. Select Customizable Grid.

4. Click the Menu button on your device.

5. Select Edit.

6. Now, you can hold down on any of the app icons and move them to where you want them to go.

  1. Too bad you can’t user-select the 4 apps that appear at the bottom (of every page). The default isn’t very functional.
