How to Hide Apps on the HTC One (M8)
You love that HTC One (M8), and you’ve downloaded a ton of apps. You don’t use many of them that often, but you don’t want to get rid of them altogether. What can you do? We’ve got great news! You can keep your all the apps you want, but not have to see them all the time (also stops you from looking at those bloatware apps, too).
By hiding some of your apps away, you get access to those you use most frequently a lot faster. It’s a great way to keep your app drawer clutter-free, too! Here’s how you do it:
1. Open your app drawer from the home screen by clicking the bottom-center button.
2. Click the three-dot menu on the top right.
3. Select “Hide/Unhide”.
4. Click on the apps you want to hide away, then press “Done”.
That’s it! To unhide your apps, just repeat the process. All hidden and unhidden apps appear when you select the “Hide/Unhide” option again, so it’s easy to put an app back into the regular mix if you want to later on. We’ll quickly walk you through the steps:
1. From the app drawer, click the three-button menu. Select “Hide/Unhide apps”.
2. De-select the apps with green check-marks next to them (those are the hidden ones), and select “Done”.
3. Your apps are back in your app drawer!
