How to Improve the Nexus 4’s Touch Screen Sensitivity

If you’ve been using a Nexus 4 smartphone for a few days, you might have noticed that its touch screen sensitivity is nowhere near to that of other high-end smartphones out there. Well, it’s due to the modifications that have been done in the system files of the device. Fortunately, there’s now a way improve the touch screen sensitivity on your Nexus 4 smartphone and the guide below shows exactly how you can do that:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Check out our Nexus 4 Root Guide to root your device.

2. You must have ClockworkMod Recovery installed on your device. Our root guide includes the recovery as well.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Touch Screen Mod (Download the Method-1 file)

III. Improving the Nexus 4’s Touch Screen Sensitivity:

1. Place the Touch Screen Mod file onto your Desktop.

2. Plug in your device to your PC via USB cable.

3. Copy the Mod file over to the root of your SD card.

4. Once it’s been copied, disconnect your device from your PC.

5. Now head on over to Google Play and download and install the Quick Boot app on your device.

6. Once it’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.

7. Hit Recovery option in the app and your device will reboot into Recovery mode.

8. From the Recovery menu, select install zip from sdcard followed by choose zip from sdcard.

9. Select the Touch Screen Mod to be flashed on your Nexus 4 device.

10. Once it’s been flashed, reboot your device.

11. And you’re all done!

Brilliant! The mod has been successfully flashed on your device. You’ll now see a significant change in the sensitivity of your Nexus 4’s touch screen!
