How to Improve the Touch Screen of the HTC Sensation XL

HTC Sensation XL users can now improve the responsiveness of their touch screen by installing a custom mod developed by the XDA developers. The mod comes in the format of recovery flashable and once flashed, makes your touch-screen more responsiveness. Here’s how you can install that mod on your device:

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Check out our How to Root the HTC Sensation XL procedure to learn how to root your device.

2. You must have CWM Recovery installed on your device. If you followed our root guide above, you have it already.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Touch Mod (Download link’s given in the first post)

III. Improving the Touch Screen of the HTC Sensation XL:

1. Download and place the Touch Mod zip onto your Desktop.

2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.

3. Copy the Touch Mod zip over to the root of your SD card.

4. Once it’s been copied, disconnect your device from your PC.

5. Now head on over to Google Play and download and install the Quick Boot app on your device.

6. Once the app’s been installed, open it from your App Drawer.

7. Hit Recovery option in the app and your device will reboot into the CWM Recovery mode.

8. From there, select install zip from sdcard followed by choose zip from sdcard.

9. Choose the Touch Mod zip to be flashed on your device.

10. It will start flashing the mod on your device.

11. Once it’s been flashed, reboot your device.

12. You’re done!

Great! You have successfully installed the Touch Mod on your Sensation XL and you should be able to notice the changes it made as soon as you boot-up your device!
