How to Increase the Video Quality on the LG Optimus G (Sprint)

Smartphones cameras have the ability to capture really amazing quality photos and videos, however, the true potential would never be seen until you know how to unlock it. Such is the case with our LG Optimus G (Sprint) smartphone. Despite the really powerful camera hanging on the back, you can’t record the true quality videos that the camera is capable to record. But when something gets locked, there’s a whole Android community to get it out and put up for the public out there. A camera mod has been developed by an XDA member for the Optimus G device that lets you increase the quality of videos that you record on your device without making any manual configurations. This guide shows how you can install that Camera Mod on your LG Optimus G (Sprint) smartphone.

I. Before You Begin:

1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. You can check out our root guide to root your device.

2. You must have TWRP Recovery installed on your device. Follow this guide to do so.

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. Camera Mod (Download link’s available in the first post)

2. Quick Boot — QR Code (Google Play Link)

III. Installing Camera Mod on the LG Optimus G (Sprint):

1. Download and place the Camera Mod file onto your Desktop.

2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.

3. Copy the Mod file over to the root of your SD card.

4. Once the file’s copied, unplug your device from your PC.

5. Now head over to Google Play and install the Quick Boot app on your device. For your convenience, the app link’s given above.

6. Once the app’s installed on your device, open it from your App Drawer.

7. In the app, tap on Recovery option and your device will reboot into the Recovery mode.

8. Once inside the Recovery mode, choose the install option.

9. Select the Camera Mod file you copied earlier for flashing.

10. It’ll then automatically flash the file to your device.

11. Once the flashing’s done, reboot your device.

12. And you’re all done!
