How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the LG Prada 3.0

CWM Recovery allows users to flash custom ROMs on their devices and enable them to bump up their firmware without waiting for the official updates to roll-out. This guide shows exactly how you can install ClockworkMod Recovery on your LG Prada smartphone. And here you go:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Please head to our How to Root the LG Prada procedure first, finish it, then return to this procedure and continue.
2. This will replace your current recovery with the CWM Recovery.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Recovery Installer APK (Download link’s available in the first post)
III. Installing ClockworkMod Recovery on the LG Prada:
1. Download and place the Recovery Installer APK onto your Desktop.
2. Connect your device to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy the APK file over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once the file’s been copied, unplug your device from your PC.
5. On your device, head to Menu>>Settings>>Security and enable the Unknown sources option.
6. Open the File Manager app on your device and install the APK you copied earlier.
7. Once it’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.
8. Hit Install Recovery option in the app.
9. Follow the on-screen instructions.
10. And you’re all done!
Brilliant! You’ve successfully installed ClockworkMod Recovery on your LG Prada and you’re all ready to get started with custom ROMs!
