How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the Samsung Intercept
If you have rooted your Samsung Intercept, the next obvious step is to of course install a custom recovery so you can start flashing ROMs of your choice. Being the low-end device that it is, the Intercept still has a few devs working in this regard and have outed CM01 Recovery (a slightly tweaked version of ClockworkMod Recovery for the Intercept). Read on then to know how to install ClockworkMod Recovery on the Samsung Intercept.
I. Before You Begin
1. You need to be rooted for this procedure to work. If you aren’t already rooted, look to our guide to help you with this.
2. Back up anything you feel is important.
3. Make sure that your device is at least 75% charged before you begin.
II. Necessary Downloads

III. Installing ClockworkMod Recovery on the Samsung Intercept
1. Connect your device to your PC and copy the interceptRoot.apk file you downloaded above to your device’s SD card. Disconnect your device.
2. Download and install any file manager from the Google Play Store.
3. Open up the file manager on your device.
4. Navigate to the location of interceptRoot.apk and install the app.
5. Tap on Install CM01 Recovery. If you do not see this option, it most likely means you are not rooted. Get root access and try again.
And you’re done!

where is the “interceptRoot.apk [Download link available in the first post of this thread]” i can’t find it at all….

InterceptRoot.apk just sits there acting like it’s trying to do something, but not actually doing anything at all. After a half hour on my rooted Samsung Intercept handset device, the app just sits there saying it’s doing stuff, though nothing is happening.
not the app itself that’s on the phone, but the download for the apk. the download is no where on the site…
Finally got it to install CWM. Had to unroot it from SuperOneClick, then reroot it with this APK to resolve my issue.
