How to Flash a Custom Recovery on the HTC One X+ (International Version)
Got a rooted HTC One X+ (International Version)? Want to flash a touch-based custom recovery to install custom ROMs? Great! In this guide, we’ll teach you how you can install the TWRP Recovery on your HTC One X+ device and enjoy a number of cool ROMs available out there. A custom recovery also helps in making backups of your current ROM, so in case you mess up with your device, you can easily revert back to working condition. Let’s see how you can flash the recovery on your device:
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Please check out our root guide to root your device.
2. This will replace your current recovery with the TWRP Recovery.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. GooManager — QR Code (Google Play Link)
III. Installing TWRP Recovery on the HTC One X+ (International Version):
1. Head on over to Google Play and download and install the GooManager app on your device.
2. Once it’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.
3. Press the Menu key and select Install OpenRecoveryScript.
4. Tap Yes to confirm your action.
5. You’ll now see the model number of your device on your screen. If it’s correct, hit Yes.
6. Have a cup of coffee as the app will now do the rest of the job for you.
7. You’re done!
Awesome! You’ve successfully flashed the TWRP Recovery on your device and you can boot into the same easily by downloading the Quick Boot app.

Hello there I have an HTC One x+ At&t, and I have installed Goo manager but this tool no longer downloads TWRP, Team Win has dissabled the download, does anybody know how to flash the recovery without Goo manager? I have TWRP Version 2.6.0 but I need a newer one ast this is failing to install ROM (CarbonRom UNNOFICIAL JB 4.3.1) cheers
