How to Make Using One Hand Easier on the iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus (Video)
Lots of people are complaining about the size of the new iPhone 6 and 6 plus. And to some extent at least it makes sense. Its quite a jump in screen size to come from an iPhone 5S or, god forbid, an iPhone 4S to be forced to an iPhone 6 size at the least (and let’s not even mention the jump to an iPhone 6 Plus).
If you are one of the people concerned about the size jump, there is at least some consolation in the form of a little software trick Apple installed on the phones.
Now while this is useful for using the iPhones with one hand, it won’t make it magically fit in your favorite cute black wristlet. So, you know, keep that in mind.
How to Use the “Reachability” Feature
1. Open whatever app you plan to use.
2. Double tap the home button (not clicking it, just tapping it).
3. The entire screen will move downward regardless of the app your using (even works on the home screen) to make it easier to reach the top half of the screen.
4. Tap the new blank area above the top of the new app to undo it.
And with that, the iPhone 6 Plus’ enormity made slightly less troublesome… boom.
Let me know what you guys think, does this make the iPhone 6 Plus’ huge size more bearable? Or are did you never have an issue using it anyway because you’re in the NBA and your fingers reach the top of the screen anyway?
