How to Make your Galaxy S2 to look like Galaxy S3
Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S2’s successor, the Samsung Galaxy S3. With the launch of this phone, a bunch of new features were introduced including a new look, S-Voice app and so on. If you are using a Galaxy S2 smartphone and want to have the look of Galaxy S3, then here’s a guide on how you can do so.
I. Before You Begin:
1. Your Galaxy S2 must be running on Samsung ROMs. Custom ROMs are not supported at the moment.
2. You must have ClockworkMod Recovery installed on your phone.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Download the Galaxy S3 TouchWIZ Launcher from here.
III. Transforming your Galaxy S2 to Galaxy S3:
1. Download the launcher file using the link given above and place it on your Desktop.
2. Connect your Galaxy S2 to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy the file you downloaded to the root folder of your phone’s SD card storage.
4. After the file has been copied, disconnect your phone from the PC.
5. Turn OFF your smartphone using the Power key.
6. Boot your phone into the recovery mode. You can do so by pressing and holding the Volume UP+Home+Power keys together.
7. Once you are in the recovery menu, choose install zip from sdcard option followed by choose zip from sdcard.
8. Navigate to the file you transferred earlier to your phone and select it for flashing.
9. When the flashing of file is done, simply choose reboot system now from the main menu of the recovery.
That’s it. You have successfully installed the Galaxy S3 Launcher on your Galaxy S2 smartphone and you can now enjoy a cool new look on your S2.
If you liked the launcher of Galaxy S3, then please head over to the official thread over at XDA to thank/donate to the original developer who ported this launcher to our Galaxy S2 smartphone.
this is cool but what model of sgs2 does it work for for? Us cellular sprint, etc.
Thanks.
It works on International Samsung Galaxy S2 only.
Thanks.
I am getting error ‘E:signature verification failed.’
In the Step-7, after “install zip from sdcard”, choose the option saying “toggle signature verification”, turn it OFF.
It should work fine afterwards.
Thanks !

Yes, you must have rooted your phone as well as you should have CWM Recovery installed on it.

Yes, your phone must be rooted to follow the procedure.
camare shot picture but the screen is black
Is this an issue you are facing after following above procedure?
I installed it following the steps but now my phone won’t turn on.What can i do now?
You must be running on the Samsung Stock ROM to apply the procedure successfully.
Try flashing Stock ROM on your device and then follow the procedure, it should work fine.
I followed the procedures and now my phone won’t turn on wht can i do now?
Were you on Official Samsung ROM when you applied the above procedure? As clearly mentioned in the procedure, you must be running on the Stock Samsung ROM and not on any custom ROM, it could brick your device.
Try flashing the Stock ROM on your device and it should start working !
maka choot teri bainchoodi madarchoodi landu gand fakir badwe
mahesh ka maka bosada madarchood lavde
how can you tell if you are running samsung rom or custom rom or samsung stock rom
If you’ve never installed any custom ROM on your device, then you’re running the Stock ROM on which you can apply the above procedure.
The custom ROMs usually have their names in the About section of your device.
Hope it helps!
Will this procedure delete my installed applications or data?
i m not able to follow the 3rd step n where is the root folder in phone’s sd card……??/

the root folder is the main folder that you see all the other folders on the SD card, Jazz; it means not to copy into any subfolders but the main folder!
