How to Remove Ongoing WiFi Notification from the HTC Droid DNA
So that ongoing WiFi notification on your HTC Droid DNA is annoying you just like many users of this device? Most likely it is. Getting rid of such an annoying thing becomes a difficult task, especially if you’re unfamiliar with the terms like root and mods. You don’t have to worry much about it as we’ve crafted a nice guide for you down below that will help you get rid of that WiFi notification so you can spend some good time with your DNA, sorry, Droid DNA!
I. Before You Begin:
1. You must have rooted your device before doing this procedure. Simply head to our root guide and follow the instructions to root your device.
2. You must have ClockworkMod Recovery installed on your device. Our root guide includes the recovery as well.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. WiFi Mod (Download link’s given in the first post)
III. Removing Ongoing WiFi Notification from the HTC Droid DNA:
1. Place the WiFi Mod file on your Desktop.
2. Plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.
3. Copy the Mod file over to the root of your SD card.
4. Once it’s copied, unplug your device from your PC.
5. Now head over to Google Play and download and install the Quick Boot app on your device.
6. Once it’s been installed, open it from your App Drawer.
7. Hit the Recovery option in the app and your device will reboot into Recovery mode.
8. From there, select install zip from sdcard followed by choose zip from sdcard.
9. Select the WiFi Mod zip to be flashed on your device.
10. It’ll flash the file on your device and once it’s done, reboot your device.
11. And you’re all set!
Cool! You’ve successfully removed that pesky WiFi notification from your Droid DNA and it won’t appear any longer on your device!
