How to Root the Huawei Premia 4G
Huawei Premia 4G was announced back in March 2013 along with Android Ice Cream Sandwich on-board. If you’ve purchased this smartphone or looking to buy it, then you would be glad to know that the device has been rooted, all thanks to the developers. Root means a lot to those users who often try new root-only apps, flash recoveries and change their ROMs. If you’re one of them or want to be one, the guide below is all you need.
I. Before You Begin:
1. This will void the warranty of your device. However, you can reinstate the warranty by unrooting your device if there’s any unrooting procedure available.
2. Make sure your device has at least 50% of battery life left.
II. Downloading Required Files:
1. Root Package (Download link’s given in the first post)
III. Rooting the Huawei Premia 4G:
1. Download and place the Root Package archive onto your Desktop.
2. Extract files from the archive over to your Desktop.
3. Enable the USB debugging option on your device by going to Menu>>Settings>>Developer options>>USB debugging.
4. Once it’s been enabled, plug in your device to your PC using the USB cable.
5. Now double-click on the file named run.bat available on your Desktop.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to root your device.
7. And you should be rooted now!
Wonderful! Your Premia 4G has been successfully rooted and is all ready to be loaded with your favorite root-only apps!
IV. Flash a Custom Recovery Image (Optional):
1. If you would like to flash a custom recovery image in order to flash custom ROMs, head to the How To Flash a Custom Recovery Image on the Huawei Premia 4G to learn how to do that.
If this procedure helped you please thank/donate to the original developers here.
well not sure wat to do after deamon started successfully,im done? so usb debugging connected should i disable?
If it says something like that your device’s been successfully rooted, then you can safely disable the USB debugging option as that’s no longer in use.
Hope it helps!
it just says deamon started successfully, im not sure what to do?
It probably means you don’t have the required drivers installed on your computer. Please head over to your manufacturer’s website and get the drivers installed first.
Thanks!
